About Paul

And here's your host

It all started when…

After a decade singing leading bass-baritone roles in operas and musicals on stages across the U.S and Europe, Paul is now a Los Angeles based, award-winning, SAG-AFTRA narrator and voice actor.

He voices audio-books, video games, animation,  documentaries, commercials, characters in live-action Netflix series, museum tours and more. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe Paul voiced all the efforts & fight noises for Wenwu in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, and he is Uatu, The Watcher, in the Marvel Super War video game (the same role Geoffrey Wright voices in What If.)

Paul has found a niche as a "singing character actor" and can be heard as the Hallmark Wizard of Oz Cowardly Lion holiday ornament, a singing Ogre for Blizzard's Hearthstone franchise, the entire Bass chorus in Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Impact, and a rapping superhero dentist bunny for Colgate.

He made his animated feature film debut as John Cooper in the Annie Award nominated (for best animated feature) Ruben Brandt, Collector.

Other video game franchises include Final Fantasy VII, League of Legends, Black Desert Online, Genshin Impact, Shenmue, Ni No Kuni, Shadowverse, Afterparty, and King Arthur: Legends Rise.

Audiobook work includes multiple franchise IP titles for Disney/Pixar, Sci-Fi titles by the most nominated author in Hugo and Nebula Award history, Roger Zelazney, and Sci-Fi legend Alan Dean Foster, 3 Giesel Award winning children's books, and the title role in Macbeth. Paul narrates for Penguin Random House, Hachette, Disney/Pixar, Dreamscape, Podium, Tantor, Blackstone, Lyric, Lepton, Curated, and won Audiofile Earphone Awards in 2022 and 2023.

A published author with a journalism degree from New York University, he has studied French, Italian, German, Latin, Russian, even a little Ancient Greek and, of course, Klingon. Paul is particularly adept at handling complex language or ideas and conveying them in an easily relatable manner. His favorite genres are classic literature and alternate-reality Sci-Fi.

Paul grew up in Concord, MA and attended Boston University before graduating from NYU. He studied acting at Schreiber Studios in NYC.  After spending most of his adult life based in NYC (including making his solo recital debut at Carnegie Hall) Paul moved to Los Angeles in 2014, where he lives with an assorted menagerie of pointy cacti, fuzzy felines and his wife Patricia (known far and wide as being both verbally pointed and emotionally fuzzy).
